TDI TECHNICAL DIVING INSTRUCTOR COURSES AT INFINITE CCR

We can deliver the full range of Technical Diving International (TDI) instructor courses, ranging from Advanced Nitrox to Advanced Mixed Gas CCR... whatever your choice, we can ensure that you are paired with a dedicated TDI Instructor Trainer who will provide you with high quality training, no matter what your needs.

TDI NITROX INSTRUCTOR

The entry level certification course for instructors wanting to teach enriched air nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train instructors in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for teaching EAN-22 through EAN-40.

Candidate pre-requisites... Minimum certification of SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor (or equivalent), certified as basic nitrox diver (may be combined with instructor program) and provide proof of a minimum of 10 logged nitrox dives

TDI ADVANCED NITROX INSTRUCTOR

This is the instructor level certification course for instructors wishing to teach the use of EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen (O₂) for optimal mixes to a depth of 40 metres / 130 feet. The object of this course is to train nitrox instructors to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for EAN-21 through 100 percent oxygen (O₂) for dives not requiring staged decompression.

Candidate pre-requisites... Minimum certification of TDI Advanced Nitrox diver or equivalent, Provide proof of 100 logged dives (25 must be nitrox dives) and must have certified 10 students in entry-level nitrox

TDI DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURES INSTRUCTOR

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. This program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with such TDI courses as TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor, TDI Advanced Wreck Instructor, or TDI Extended Range Instructor. The objective of this course is to train instructors how to plan and conduct a standard decompression procedures course not to exceed a maximum depth of 45 metres. The most common equipment requirements, equipment set-ups, decompression techniques and deco mixes are covered

Candidate pre-requisites... Minimum certification of TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor or equivalent (unless Advanced Nitrox Instructor course is taught in conjunction with Deco Procedures Instructor), Minimum certification of TDI Decompression Procedures diver (or equivalent), provide proof of 150 logged dives, have certified 10 students in SDI Deep Diver (or TDI Advanced Nitrox diver or equivalent or 10 SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent)

TDI EXTENDED RANGE INSTRUCTOR

This provides the training and experience required to competently teach air diving up to 55 metres, requiring staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen (O₂) during decompression. Instructors are trained in the

proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving.

Candidate pre-requisites... Provide proof of 250 logged dives (25 must be extended range dives), be certified as a TDI Extended Range Diver (or equivalent), be certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Instructor (or equivalent) and must have certified 10 students as advanced nitrox or decompression procedures (a minimum of 5 must be decompression procedures)

TDI TRIMIX INSTRUCTOR

The TDI Trimix Instructor course provides the training required to competently

and safely teach use of breathing gases containing helium with no less than 18 percent

oxygen (O₂) for staged decompression dives to a maximum depth of 60 metres

Candidate pre-requisites... Minimum certification as TDI Trimix Diver and TDI Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures Instructor (or equivalent), proof of having certified 15 advanced nitrox or decompression procedures divers (minimum of 10 must be deco procedures), provide proof of 250 logged dives (with a minimum of 20 logged Trimix dives outside of training - 10 of these dives must be in the last 12 months).

TDI ADVANCED TRIMIX INSTRUCTOR

The TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor course is perhaps the pinnacle of achievement for any Open-Circuit Technical Instructor. It provides the training required to competently and safely teach breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression to a maximum depth of 100 metres. The objective of this course is to train instructors to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen, helium, and nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.

Candidate pre-requisites... Must be certified as a TDI Advanced Trimix Diver (or equivalent), certification as a TDI Extended Range Instructor or TDI Trimix Instructor or

equivalent, provide proof of 250 logged dives (of which 30 must be Trimix dives), provide proof of 20 dives deeper than 55 metres and meet one of the following requirements:

1. Certify at least 10 extended range divers or Trimix divers to depths of at least 45 metres

2. Assist with at least 2 complete TDI Advanced Trimix classes taught by an active TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor and provide a letter of recommendation from the assisted instructor(s).

TDI CCR AIR DILUENT DECOMPRESSION PROCEDURES DIVER

Are you an open circuit technical diver looking to cross over to the “silent” side? Or maybe you are a CCR Air Diluent Diver looking to progress to the next level? Either way, TDI’s CCR Air Diluent Decompression Course is the next step. Using the latest technology in CCRs can maximize your gas supply and provide an optimum breathing gas for any depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen. Like having a blending station on your back, a CCR is the ultimate tool for technical divers. During this course, your TDI Instructor will teach you all of the necessary skills to conduct decompression CCR dives using air diluent.

Course prerequisites:

Minimum age 18

Provide proof of 50 logged dives

Provide proof of TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Deco Procedures Diver*

OR

Minimum age 18

TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver certified*

30 hours on the CCR unit

Six months CCR diving experience
